post type order conflict random images in sidebar

    I use the Architekt theme for my site http:www.rentadesigner.info.
    This theme has a feature that shows 3 post images, in my case 3 of my portfolio images, randomly in the sidebar with every new page.
    Since i started useing ‘Post types order’ this feature is blocked/not functioning and my site only shows 3 fixed images. So on every new page the same 3 images of the top 3 posts appear.
    Is there a way to still be able to re-order the posts how i like them and still have the random images in the sidebar?
