But we have similar post type with different name’s, so i want to make this solution also for the other posttypes.

Can you elaborate on this part?

As is, it almost feels like “portfolio” should be the post type, and it should be set to hierarchical so that you can have parent/child relationships. “architectuur” could be a portfolio item in the post type, and “architectuur/bim” could be a child of that first one.

However, this kind of depends on the quoted part above.

    Hi Micheal,

I have made 7 post types with CPT UI
    – Bedrijfsfotografie
    – Drone fotografie
    – Architectuur
    – Interieur
    – Portretten
    – Productfotografie
    – Bouw

So for every post type i want to make a link to ‘portfolio’ in the slug.
I think that that will be the solutions. But for every post type i have a different template made in Elementor. Is it possible to have that ass wel in a parent/child relationship?

That’s Elementor part is going to be more a question for Elementor support than us. Templates used aren’t usually dependent on the parent/child relations either, from all my experiences.

    Hi Michael,

Oke that’s fine, but how do i make a parent/child relations? Is this only possible in the samen Custom Post? Or can i make a parent/child relations to a page from pages (parent) and the child from a Custom Post?

    Hi!

Or an other idea, can i connect a Custom Post Type to a page in pages? So the slug will be correct?

More or less parent/child relations are only between posts in the same post type. Especially when it comes to the UI. At the database level, it’s just post IDs stored in a column, but I have to believe other details are looked at by WordPress code when trying to piece everything together.

Regarding permalinks for all of them having one ultimate parent slug segment, I don’t have any great answers or known working solutions here. It’s definitely something that goes above and beyond what is capable with just CPTUI. We’d just be a piece in the puzzle, not the entire puzzle itself.

    Hi Micheal,

Okay thanks for all the information. I’m going to look for some other solutions.
