Post Type Archive w/o Single Pages

    Is it possible to create a post type that has a publicly available archive with a custom slug that does not create individual pages/URLs for each individual post?

    EXAMPLE
    CPT Slug: vv_job
    Desired Archive Slug: jobs

    I’ve tried different combinations of the settings below, but I can’t seem to find how to keep the archive accessible without also having individual URLs for each post (e.g. “/jobs/manager”):

    public
publicly_queryable
has_archive
rewrite
