For those of us that are using your plugin in the custom post type mode, it would be handy to have this custom post type archive enabled.

I’m trying to display the Movies post type as a top level menu in my theme’s menu bar. There’s some good write-up here on how to do this:

    https://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-add-post-type-archive-in-wordpress-navigation-menus/

Yet, there isn’t an option for “All movies” inside the post type on the Menu editor. Trying to guess, I plugged in my browser: “www.mysite.com/movie/” but this just auto-navs to the nearest movie/post, not an archive.

A workaround would be for me to create a Movie Category parent that then “houses” the sub categories. But that’s not ideal either.

Ultimately, all I’m really after is:

    1. having the benefit of a custom post type, as I see more future possibility for organization, presentation, etc.
    2. having a menu bar on the user-facing end that has a drop-down for “Movies” with sub menu items for my movie categories.
