post to page via email

  • I have been posting via email for a few weeks and it works great. But I have two things I would like to change but can’t figure out what to do.

    1. I would like all my posts to be posted as a page not a post.

    2. Can you configure default tags or include tags in the email to be posted.

    Hi ,

    I am new to this post via email concept and I have tried doing this. But could not able to post my new pages via email.

    Actually I have configured 2 email account through Netfirms service providers. and I have registerd in wordpress with pop.mydomain.com and port as 110 and with the properly created email address and with the password.

    And if I sent an email from the another email account to this, I cud not able to receive any posts. (this email ID is also I have registerd as an author in wordpress so as to follow this “Hack E-mail Format” .

    Could you please help me in sorting uot this problem.
