• I can’t figure out how to get my post titles to show up. I created headings in my post, and they do show up when you click on “read more”, but I would like them to show up in the excerpt on the blog feed. I’ve tried setting a featured photo, but that didn’t make a difference with the title. The heading is not showing up as a heading– just as normal paragraph font. Here is my site, and I only have one post so far. https://thereswool.com

    Anyone have any suggestions?

I just realized that my custom CSS, which I had pasted in to remove page titles from the pages some time ago, actually also removes post titles. So I deleted it, and now the post titles are showing, as I had hoped. However, I still do not like the page titles showing up on the pages…any solution?

Both the post titles and page titles use the class “entry-title” and therefore it wouldn’t be a straight forward remove via CSS.

The best approach would be to create a child theme and in the page.php template substitute “entry-title” with “page-title” as the class then target that with CSS code – you can also omit the title call altogether but I don’t think that is the best approach.

I’ll make the changes within the theme in the next update to make it easier but this maybe sometime yet as I’m playing catch up due to a long illness absence.
