Post title wrapping on mobile

If you are using Gutenverse Post Title, there will be an option under Style panel, called Typography. Click on the pencil icon, and it will open option for fonts.
Then on font size, you can click the device icon and switch it to mobile and then add the size you need for mobile devices.

If you didn’t see these options, chances are you are still using default post title block. You can remove it and add Our version of Post Title block, it has blue icon and our plugin logo on the bottom right corner.

Just following up on that – everything was fine after that change, but now all the formatting on internal pages is gone – they are using different page templates, so it can’t be connected to the change I made on the post title. Is there an issue with CSS?

It’s fixed now – I had set Autoptimize to Aggregate CSS files as the site is quite slow, so I was looking at ways to speed it up. It must have done something to CSS, but I have unticked that option and all is fine again now

Final question hopefully! the site looks fine on browsers, but renders strangely on Google sitespeed test. If you look at this link, the preview is incorrect

It seems fine now – must have been a cache problem.

As Autoptimize was causing layout issues when I used it to help speed up the site, do you have any recommendations for how to reduce javascript and eliminate render-blocking resources as suggested by Google?

Hello @ciaranrowe

At the moment, we don’t really have any recommendation for caching plugins.
We’re still doing research on which caching plugin have the best compatibility with our plugin.
When it’s done, we will add it to our documentation including the settings used for that particular cache plugin.

In the meantime, you can do few things to improve the pagespeed such as :
– Don’t use too many animation effects, or just use Fade In animation effect.
– Reduce page content count, it will get slower the more blocks it used.

Thanks for that advice – it has improved now.

One more question – I am using the Yoast SEO plug in to add page titles and descriptions, but I see the same page title twice on every page. Is there a way to change this so the page title appears once only?

I think it’s best for you to contact the Yoast SEO plugin author directly since they probably know better how to solve the issue.

Thanks for the advice. I checked with Yoast SEO support and they say that it is a theme issue. I have another site using Travey theme with the same problem. Do you know of any workaround to hide or remove the title created by the theme and keep just the one added by Yoast?
