Post Title Image not Uploaded

Just reread and want to clarify. If I upload an image where an image is designated to go it displays just fine. When I try to upload an image and access it via custom css the site won’t let me. I just can’t figure out a way around it. I’ve tried changing the background for both the widgets and the post titles.

What CSS code are you using and for which element.

BTW, images uploaded by FTP are not recognized, so you should upload them using the media uploader and then use the absolute file path (File URL in the media library page for that image) in the CSS.

I didn’t know that about the FTP upload.

Which item on which page is that supposed to be on?

Ah, so your CSS is not correct – you can’t have two classes like that – the HTML is this:

<h2 class="entry-title post-title">

like:

h2.entry-title

But you also have some CSS errors that are likely causing problems – see the custom CSS section – the Parse errors are usually a problem:

Your child theme CSS is also not doing anything because you have a parse error there too.

BTW, if you have a child theme, it’s generally best to just put CSS there – that way it’s all in one place and easier to keep track of.
