hm… It probably could work. I haven’t used lightbox in years. I’ve thought about adding that as a possible feature down the road. You should be able to add lightbox and then have it target the anchors in the tiles since there are classes etc.

ok you lost me after “It probably could work” lol

Presumably there is something somewhere that essentially gives the instruction that when you click on tile A, go to post page A but would that be in the theme, the plugin, or somewhere else?

Once found, and forgive me because I’m only coming at this from a logic point of view as I know next to nothing about programming and its the same logic I use to edit templates, in theory at least you would just need to edit that instruction to open fancybox-A.

My answer wasn’t very helpful. You would have to follow the lightbox or fancybox (that’s another good one). It’s a little more advanced process. I don’t have time to explore it right now. But I’ll come back and update this if I end up getting around to adding it.

I have up on trying to get the links to open in FancyBox and switched to the prettyphoto plugin for my lightbox and the links on the post pages now open perfectly.

In theory now if I could find the instruction that says what to open when you click on a tile I would be all set.

Off to do some learning and see what I can find. Thanks for your help and for a great plugin.

I’m wondering f you could do something like when .post-tiles li a is clicked get ‘this’ attr href. So basically you use the anchor as the trigger and the triggers href attribute as the URL. I would have to explore prettyphoto. But that logic should be a good direction. I’m on an iPhone so I can’t explore it properly.

Thats exactly the kind of logic I was following, there must be something somewhere that tells it what to do when a post tile is clicked, its would just be a case of substituting the bit that tells it to go to the post page for what currently tells it to open the lightbox.

Will let you know if I figure it out

Was there any update on this?
