Post thumbnails not being cropped

    I’m trying to generate 5 different thumbnail sizes for each featured image, using this code on functions.php: https://bit.ly/m7dpSK. The thing is that WordPress crops the featured image as defined on the Dashboard ? Settings ? Media image sizes. How should I override those settings with those I set up on my functions.php file? I really need those 5 different sizes..
