Post Thumbnail Editor link missing in the featured image area

  • Installed drag and drop plunin today and really like it. It will be a huge time saver.

    I also use post thumbnail editor plugin to crop featured images. After installing drag and drop plugin, the link to “post thumbnail editor” is no longer available in the post page.

    I can get to post thumbnail editor through media library, but I want to check here in case I missed some configuration somewhere, or if there is a way around to solve this.

  • There isn’t a config setting for this. I imagine that the drag/drop plugin is using a similar hack to load itself into the media library that PTE is. WordPress has not made configuring the media library very friendly.
