I inserted an image using the wp post editor, and asked for it to align left with text wrap. On my site, it showed up on the left, with text wrapping nicely on the right. However, the text below it doesn’t wrap properly, instead leaving a gap of a couple lines of where text should be.

I then went into the advanced image settings (after clicking on the edit button on the image in the wp post editor) and messed around with the image properties (vertical/horizontal space) as well as the “styles” to get it to wrap properly as shown in the live preview above.

But then when I update the post and check out my page, nothing has changed.

Could someone please either help me get this method to work, or tell me some other way to get the text to wrap properly? I want to keep things as simple as possible.

    Thanks.

?? sorry, my site’s just on my local pc right now..

but really i’m just trying to do the most basic thing, post with an image.. i just want the text to wrap around the image.. everything’s fine except for too much spacing below the image.. but i’m confused as to why something so simple has to be so hard – please help!

Try editing your theme’s stylesheet and reducing the bottom margin on left aligned images.
