Post text always imported partially

    With the new version 4.56.0 of MailPoet, the articles that I insert in full into the newsletter and which contain part of the text inserted with shortcodes [by WP Shortcodes Plugin — Shortcodes Ultimate] on the article page, once imported into the newsletter very well, no longer show the text that was inserted with shortcodes in the article.
    Until today, although it was not possible to use shortcodes in the newsletter, but it interpreted them correctly if present in the article, but no longer.
    This forces me to manually import the article content into the newsletter which significantly lengthens the work.
    Obviously I downgraded MailPoet to the version 4.55.0

    This is all really sad

    Hi @gdm57 and thanks for reaching out.

    I can confirm, that we released a change, in how we strip shortcodes. MailPoet now relies on WordPress’ strip_shortcodes() function. If the shortcode is properly registered via add_shortcode(), it should be stripped.

    Could you please provide an example of shortcode that’s not stripped and ideally also a way to reproduce it, so we can test it out?
