Post Template

I have searched for a solution for this and have come up uneventful. I’m looking for a way so that if i’m going to post an article… say under the category of tutorials, that it uses a certian template.

i know how to find what the cat is called.. or it’s id. but is there a way to make it so that all articles that are under that category are displayed the same.. thus each category can have a little different appearence.

i’m looking to format it so that the picture is floated in the upper left and the text flows around it for the articles… thanks for any help offered
