“Removed […] Post Teaser. The features of these plugins are now built-in to wordpress in more advanced ways…”

How so? I used to find Post Teaser invaluable, I am now stuck with “Permanent link to this post, blah blah blah” and have to hack into the template files in order to remove it or alter it in any way. It was so good to have a page where you could set exactly if and how the post teaser block would be displayed, and I fail to see where in the WordPress admin you have a more advanced way – or indeed any way – of achieving the same thing.

As far as I can see there is no new plugin that addresses this. Or am I missing something here?

Sorry, and I agree, but we just can’t support it any longer – It’s just too old and outdated – Although it still works fine for now, , I am trying to head off any support trouble in the future.

Nothing shoul;d have changed on existing sites, and you’re not “stuck” on a new installation – you can download it here from the original developer –

I think based on your feedback here that we’ll put the link(s) to these old plugins inside of our plugins.

    thanks!
