Post tags missing after databse transfer

  • I recently migrated a client WP site from my production server over to his live server. After several bumps, we got it all working EXCEPT…

    The Tags for all the posts seem to be missing. I have looked at/compared the database tables wp_terms, wp_term_relationships and wp_term_taxonomy, and the db table sizes all seem to match up. So the tag info seems to be still in the db. However, the tags are not connecting to the posts.

    Has anyone had and subsequently fixed this problem? The client spend weeks updating the tags to over 1400 posts during production, and he will be very unhappy if he has to repeat all that work.

    Any help will be appreciated.
