Post Subscribers Not Exported/Imported

I’m in the process of moving blogs, so I exported the posts from the old blog and imported them into the new one. While the posts and comments moved just fine, the post subscribers didn’t get make it to the new blog. This is a big part of my traffic – people who sub to a post and then continue to comment over the following months.

Any idea on: A) why they didn’t import/export, and B) how I can make that happen?
