Post still will not publish

  • Hi- I thought I had this resolved by putting the permalink in my browser and it came up. Then I searched for the site and the content is still not there. This is the static front page. What now? Thanks

  • OK, how do you have your blog set up? With a static front page?

    In settings->reading if you have a static front page, you also need a blog page. You need to create both those pages and select them from the dropdown

    (If you don’t want a static front page, you should have ‘your blog posts’ selected)

    A static front page won’t display posts, it will only display the content of the page.

    so either set your front page to be your posts, or make a page called blog or something, and set that as your posts page.

    Once you either make your front page a page of posts, or set a page to be your posts page, your posts will show up there
