    Hi

    Works great! I need to be able to export alternatives to published posts, in my case expired posts. I tried editing the query in the plugin to ‘any’ versus ‘publish’ with no luck. Any idea on how I can do this?

    Have you registered your new post status first?
    After that I don’t see why any shoulnd’t work.

    The post status is registered, and it exports published and draft posts just fine.

    The CPT is for job listings (WP Job Manager), which has an ‘expired’ state but for some reason it won’t export those when I make the query changes to ‘any’ or include ‘expired’ in an array. Perhaps I’m missing a location to make an edit?

    Ok, so just to confirm, the job listing CPT export fine with this plugin, as long as they are published or draft, but not the expired ones. Correct?

    This might be due to a delay in the post status registration, I need to check.
    Basically the Job Manager is registering the status too late (after this plugin), hence it’s like the status doesnt exist, at the moment of export.

    I’ll try to find some time to look into this, by delaying somehow the export to when that custom status is already registered with WP.

    Correct, the CPT exports fine as long as they are published or draft, but not expired ones.

    Please check v 1.3.8

    There’s now an option to choose which post status to export, or any.
    If you don’t see the status right away, try saving the settings one more time (after selecting the right post type). If you still don’t see it, let me know.

    Please keep in mind though, that in WordPress, “any” will skip certain ones.

    I have very limited time to work on the plugin pro-bono, so in case things don’t work or you want a custom feature right way, for a fee, please email me (email in plugin settings page).

    I’ve had a chance to test the update. Here’s what I’ve found:

    – selecting Any and saving settings will not take effect (Any is deselecting when page refreshes);
    – selecting multiple statuses does not seem to work, at least is my instance which has an Expired status created by WP Job Manager plugin for job listings;
    – selecting any individual status including the Expired setting does work.

    I will follow up to discuss potential custom development.
