Post Soundcloud or Youtube

    Hi,

    I wanted postie to add a youtube video or a soundcloud file to my post.
    In our website there is a specific embed area for audio and video called: VIDEO URL (OEMBED) OR EMBED CODE.

    How do I get postie to put the embedding code in that specific area?
    Hopefully someone can help me out, PHP scripts is not one of my expertise.

    other related question: how do i let postie know in the email that there is a youtube or soundcloud link.

    Typically WordPress handles this directly. I assume you are talking about an editor block.

    Due to the way that email clients change the format of email messages (links specifically) Postie works best for oembed links if you set the Preferred Text Type to plain
