• Installed POST SMTP MAILER for connection to Office 365 server. Wizard is successful connecting to smtp.office365.com on port 587 with authenticated user on dev site hosted on HostGator.
Live site is hosted on TSOHOST and there the Wizard does not offer SMTP – office365.com:587 as a socket option. Only :
    ?? Mandrill API
    ?? SendGrid API
    ?? Mailgun API
How do i get O365 connectivity? Is there something specific that i need to request from TSOHOST to enable O365 as an option in the Wizard?

    Hi @demosteve

    Hope you are doing good.

Seems like it’s a Hosting Server Security issue, try to talk to your TSOHOST Support and tell them about this issue they will guide you better about this.

Also, can you share the Setting Page > Account Tab screenshot?

    Thanks

    Hi
I’ve spoken to TSOHOST support over webchat and they could not offer a solution. Only to use an alternative SMTP plugin, which doesn’t help!

Has anyone else encountered a similar situation where the Wizard does not offer SMTP – office365.com:587 as a socket option?

Is there a ‘specific’ config setting that i can request from TSO that would solve this?

I note on the Wizard it states ‘Note that many WordPress hosts, such as GoDaddy, Bluehost and Dreamhost, require that you use their mail accounts with their mail servers, and prevent you from using others.’ Does this mean i would have to bring my domain’s mailboxes back into TSOHOST as they cannot be reached at o365? ??

@demosteve did you tried without the wizard option “SHOW ALL SETTINGS”?

if you can use “SHOW ALL SETTINGS” option and add things manually? let me know if its works.

    Thanks
