Post SMTP email error

Following a recent update about a month ago (more or less), Post SMTP stopped working and emails were no longer being sent from my site. A recent update alerted me to the problem, because now instead of nothing being sent, I am getting an email error message:
You getting this message because an error detected while delivered your email.
For the domain: https://farawaylandtravel.ca
The log to paste when you open a support issue:
Message rejected because [IP removed] is blacklisted see Blocked
Too many failed loginsI have double-checked my login credentials several times and they are correct. There is absolutely nothing wrong with my settings. Of course not, because everything worked perfectly before the update about a month ago.
So I tried to send a test email and this is what I got:
550-Message rejected because [IP removed] is blacklisted see Blocked
550 – Too many failed loginsHow can this problem caused by Post SMTP be fixed?
