Post slider widget looping incorrectly

    I think your plugin is great, and I had no issues with the carousel.

    However, the vertical widget is displaying 3, 4 and 5 repetitions of the same post. I have experimented with the settings for the number of posts appearing and the query, but I get the same results no matter which combination I choose.

    I would like it to simply keep looping through the number of posts in the category I have that particular widget set to query.

    Would hate to have to abandon this now that I’ve found it.

    Yes, a category called All News ID132

    Yes, you can display posts by category easily with shortcode parameter.

    e.g [psac_post_carousel category="132"] – Where 132 is the category ID.

    You just need to add the category shortcode parameter in your existing shortcode and will work.

    Yes, and I have used the category shortcode in the carousel, but the widget chooses the category from a drop down menu.

    Your plugin added a Widget entitled Post Vertical Slider Widget, and that is the item that I’d like to use on that page. It is showing the category I selected, but it is duplicating the same posts multiple times. I would send you a screen capture of the widget choices but I do not see that I can do that with this interface.

    Actually It is a slider default behavior. Slider is creating some clone element for continuously scrolling.

    But it will be more cleared if you add the widget on page so I can take a look at it and try to understand the scenario.

    The repetition doesn’t start till the carousel gets through all the related posts. I expected it to simply start over again, but it starts duplicating the posts.

    Thanks for the web page link.

    I have checked it and found that it depends on the “Pause” and “Speed” parameter of Widget. If we reduced the “Pause” below to 1000 then it behaves something different because of high speed.

    Can you please update the “Pause” value to 3000 and “Speed” value to 600 ? I think it will look good and work also for you.
