  • Got the same problem. All sitemaps – that have been working just finr before upgrade – now turns 404

Resetting the permalink structure did solve the 404 error

For me its all the same ..

Still getting 404 not found error !

Mentioning this in case it’s related: Links to all my posts were giving 404 errors after upgrading. Strangely, resaving the permalink setting would temporarily fix it, then the problem would return within half an hour. Turning Yoast off or going back to the last version (3.1) and then resaving the permalink setting resolved it. I’ve enjoyed using this great plugin for some time, but may leave it off or at the prior version until the next update.

Yeah sitemap is really needed… This is really annoying…

Hi my XML sitemap shows 404
    https://www.kathleenaherne.com/sitemap_index.xml

I have turned it on – saved – turned it off -saved – on saved. still 404

I turned off all other plugins and I still get 404

I would love some help to fix this please

    Sorry I found the problem.

I copied the url from the Yoast page and pasted into Google.

Google already had the http//:www etc and just needed the sitemap_index.xml

Thank you I am relieved it is ok now.
