    Hello @mjoshu4

Thanks for reaching out about your sitemap. I see that your URLs with Korean characters are encoded; this is the expected behavior. There are only certain characters that are allowed in the URL string, alphabetic characters, numerals, and a few characters?; , / ? : @ & = + $ - _ . ! ~ * ' ( ) #?that can have special meanings.

According to?sitemap.org specification, a sitemap must be encoded in UTF-8. UTF means Unicode Transformation Format. It is an encoding system for Unicode. It can translate any Unicode character to a matching unique binary string and the binary string back to a Unicode character. For instance, it lets you represent characters as ASCII text while allowing for international characters, such as Korean, Chinese, Russian, and Arabic.

There’s no feature in our plugin to show your URLs as decoded.

    Korean language characters aren’t supported in a sitemap because they aren’t alphabetic characters, numerals, or ; , / ? : @ & = + $ - _ . ! ~ * ' ( ) # . They have to be encoded.

That’s why you will see https://statusdays.com/%ed%95%9c%ea%b5%ad%ec%9d%98-%ec%8a%a4%ed%8f%ac%ec%b8%a0%ed%86%a0%ed%86%a0/ instead of https://statusdays.com/???-?????/
