POST SECURITY: Random post created without user logged into dashboard

    Hi,

    On my WordPress website, I have noticed that a number of posts are being created just empty by an unknown user, has anyone else got this issue, anyone knows a fix to this problem.

    I have added Activity Log plugin which effectively shows me that there was a post created in this sort of format:

  • It appears that website has been hacked, some one is injecting content into your site.

    Steps to be taken to secure your website
    # Reset all admin users password
    # Check root of your web hosting directory, you may find some suspecious files.
    # use wp security plugin there are many available like wordfence security, wp security etc.
    # do a quick scan of files through this plugin, it will show you which files are inflected by outside users.
