Post Redirections Work Perfectly But It’s Now Giving Errors On Pages

How has it corrupted it? A redirect cannot affect the content on a page, it can only redirect a page.

Apologies my bad terminology there, the code I used works perfectly for the post redirection but it’s adding the word /lifestyle to all the pages now.

I’ve tried different code to get it to ignore the post redirection but I’m not having much luck.

Redirection is not performing this redirect:

Does that mean it’s something Yoast is now causing it to do?

I only have access to the information in the redirect and it does appear to say Yoast, but I don’t know more that.

You wouldn’t happen to know what the full code is to redirect posts and exclude pages including the sitemap would be would you?

This works perfectly for the posts but I can’t figure out what to include to add the exclusion of pages:

/lifestyle/$1

As explained here I don’t provide direct support for regular expressions – I get so many requests that I’d spend most of my time creating them!

If there are specific pages you want to exclude and can’t do it with the regex itself then you can also create a ‘do nothing’ redirect and set it at a higher priority. This will take precedence over the regex and stop any further processing.
