• Hi,

I like the way the latest posts show on the homepage. Small font and the Continue Reading link.

My problem is, that the latest posts on the other pages do not look the same. The font size is much bigger and there is no Continue Reading link.

On the demo it works, the previews have the exact same formatting as on the homepage.

How can I modify the posts on the other pages, so they look exactly the same as on the homepage?

    Thanks for any help,

    DrB

  • Hi there,

By “other pages” do you mean category pages such as this one? https://thebookoffriends.com/category/review/

Versus what you see in the demo site on a category page here?
    https://canarddemo.wordpress.com/category/cars/

You are mostly there, but to have the same styling you will want to be sure to add a “featured image” to each of your blog posts. It will become the thumbnail image you see in the layout here: https://d.pr/i/adjkko

As for the top post with the full background image, that does not happen automatically. Instead you will need to add a “featured image” in the post settings. This will become the background image in the layout. Also you will want to select the “Image” post format, which is what makes this post look different from the other posts with the more traditional thumbnail image. See screenshot above.

More info on how to set up the Canard theme here: https://wordpress.com/theme/canard

    Hope this helps!
