Post Preview / Read More Issues

    So I’ve gone all over my dashboard and have installed many plugins that failed. On my Blog Posts page, I only want previews of the posts to show, but it shows the entire thing. I did try inserting the “Read More” tag, but it didn’t work. I feel like there’s a simpler solution that doesn’t involve plugins and coding (I know very little about coding, so I’d like to avoid it if possible), so if anyone has a solution, please let me know!

  • go to Dashboard>>Settings>>Reading then check Summary instead of full text, then Save changes.

    I’ve tried that, and it didn’t work.

    Never mind, I figured it out. I was using a plugin in to build layers withing each text post, and for some reason, the “Read More” function doesn’t work when using the layers. So I dismantled the post and didn’t use layers (I have PageBuilder installed, and I use lots of rows, widgets, and shortcodes), and it worked!
