    Hey everyone

I’m very new to www.remarpro.com after moving my blog from wordpress.com. My site is https://www.DDDangerous.com

Since switching to www.remarpro.com, when I share URLs of a specific page from my blog onto Facebook the preview comes up with just the name of the blog and when clicking on it, it takes you to the homepage, not the specific page I wanted.

    I ran it through a debugger – https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/og/object?q=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.dddangerous.com%2Fautumn-dip%2F

And found that it’s an open graph issue.

I then installed the Yoest SEO plug in and and the box called “Add open graph meta data” was already ticked, so I filled in the information below it giving an image for the homepage etc.

It hasn’t made any difference to the Facebook preview showing the correct page from the pasted URL or a preview of the content.

I’ve only learned to do the above through extensive searches of this forum and Google… and now they haven’t worked I have no idea what to try next. Please help!

    Louise

It seems to be working just fine now, it looks like you hadn’t refreshed the debugger’s scrape of the page sine the first test. ??

When I checked, the debugger brought up an 8-hour-old version of the page, likely before you even installed the plugin. When I fetched it again, it looked perfect.

When using the debugger at https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/og/object/ always check the “Time Scraped” listed, and hit the “Fetch new scrape information” button to check it again if the time is too old.

It’s working for me too now, thank you for pointing out my rookie error! It’s a bit of a learning curve for me, all this! ??

    Thanks again

You’re welcome! The learning never stops, it’s what makes all of this so much fun. ??
