Post preview in admin. Bug?

  • Using 2.0-RC1
    If I go admin > Manage > Posts and pick one post from the displayed list, it opens the post for edit but in the Preview window there is always a Page, actually the Archive Page of the theme. Even if the theme doesn’t have an archives template (like Classic) it will try to display a Page titled Archives in the preview area.
    Same thing happens if clicking the “Edit this” while viewing the blog.
    It does NOT happen if I open for edit my or others’ drafts.
    Pages also show up correctly in the preview.

    Is this a bug or just me?

  • I’m not seeing that. Published posts and drafts preview the same for me using the ‘standard’ Classic theme.

    This just happened to me. Was fine before but now, for some reason i get the same thing.

    I’m getting the same problem. I go to manage posts and it automatically jumps to preview. It only seems to happen when I’m using a custom theme (not admin theme) that I’ve been working on.
