post-preview hover animation

Hi! Im trying to change the way that the post-preview information is displayed. Rather than slide in as an animation when you hover over your post thumbnails, I want a static stationary title at the bottom of each thumbnail with no hover effect. I know that I can remove the hover animation all together with the “Show excerpts on portfolio” option, but I still want to use the title, just without the hover animation. Any advice?
