Post pages not working Error 404s

I recently switched themes to the Point and am now having problems as my post pages seem to not be working and I’m getting 404s. Everything looks right on home page but not when users click on posts. I am now having this problem with any theme I try.
I tried a couple of other themes and recently updated WP so I’m not sure where the problem originated.
Can anyone advise as to what problem might be and how I can fix? Not a developer so be gentleThank you, much appreciated
