    Hello,

We have recently run into a problem when editing a post or page, where clicking the Advanced tab (#collapsible-advanced-settings) the screen will jump and the other plugin features becomes unusable.

We use the Avada theme. The theme, WordPress, and Yoast SEO plugin are all up to date. Additionally we have cleared the browser cache, but the problem still persists.

I’ve made a video of the occurrence here.

    Hello @sshattersley!

This could be caused by a plugin or theme conflict but before we ask you to do a conflict check, can you please perform the following?

    1. Go to SEO > General > Features tab > Security: no advanced settings for authors. Is it enabled? Click on ‘?’ to know more.

    2. Based on your video, it looks like Readability is not available. On the same screen, please also check if “Readability analysis” is enabled.

If you enable it, does it make any difference?

Just tried enabling it, but it does not make a difference from what is shown in the video.

If that’s the case, we need you to perform a conflict check. The fastest way to do this is to?deactivate all non-Yoast plugins and switch to a standard theme?like?Twenty Nineteen.?

Test this on your development or staging site, if you have one. If not, we recommend using the?Health Check & Troubleshooting?plugin. This plugin allows you to run a conflict check?without affecting normal visitors to your site.

You may follow our step-by-step guide here:?How to check for plugin conflicts.

    Hi Rumejan,

I did as you advised an identified the plugin that was causing the conflict (was not a plugin from the theme). I have reached out to that plugin’s support team to see if they can advise a fix on their end.

Thank you so much for the quick and responsive replies!
