Post Page Grid – Columns for Pages

I have selected “Page” for the content type and the columns option disappears. I would like to be able set the Grid to be three columns when using pages. Is there a way to do this? A filter or any other sneaky code?

Would ideally love the option to be there by default just like it is for posts.
