• I was happily editing articles yesterday, and in between checking emails and coming back… the post box went blank on me. I hadn’t upgraded WordPress or any plug-ins, or changed anything in my theme. The only thing I can remember doing is adding a new user.

I can’t click in the box, whether it’s Visual or HTML and there’s no content showing, even though I know it’s there.

At the bottom of posts, the word count shows, and if I preview the post, it show the content fine.

If I go into my User Profile and Tick the box to Disable the Visual Editor, then I get the text editor showing up fine.

I’ve researched on Google and read old threads. I’ve deactivated all plug-ins and changing back to twenty eleven… nothing works.

i’ve cleared my browser cache, cleared Super Cache and tried adding the plugin Use Google Libraries because somewhere I read that that had worked for someone.

    All to no avail.

I’m using 3.8, and Genesis News Pro: https://theyogalunchbox.co.nz/

Ok, update. Still no go on this… however when I log into the back end of my website in my iPhone, the post box shows up fine.

On my MacPro, I’ve tried Chrome, Safari and Firefox and none of them work.

I have another website on the same hosting plan, and it’s not having this issue, either on my desktop or mobile.

Try to re-install WordPress with a back-up of your database.
