Post on front page?

Should be able to use the shortcode to add as a widget on your front page: [sexy_author_bio]

Does that not work for some reason?

I just made an update to the plugin that includes a Sexy Author Bio widget and gets the shortcode working in other widgets (i.e. a text widget). Let me know if you run into any issues.

I’m new to this and I’m hoping you can help. I’ve verified the user settings for the plugin, and I’ve added the widget to the sidebar on my homepage…but so far, all I see is an empty circle where I think my face is supposed to go. Any suggestions?

Hey Cherry,

You just need to setup an avatar in Gravatar that is associated with the email address for the user you want the author’s avatar to show up for.

Let me know if that doesn’t fix your issue.

I’ve double-checked that. Still nothing. I’m moving between Settings and User Profile…is there another place I have to check something off?

Do you have Show Avatars enabled in Settings > Discussion?

If that’s not it, what’s the website URL?
