• Hi,

We use subscribe2 on dallasdynamite.org to notify people when a new post is made to the site.

However, the post notifications have been going to people’s spam boxes. What’s weird is that when you send a blast through the control panel by going to Subscribe2 > Send email, it works fine, it’s just the notifications of new posts that are going to spam.

We did some troubleshooting and changed the email address the notifications were coming from from [email protected] to someone’s work email address (not a yahoo or google, their corporate email account) and now it seems to work, but we need to get it working to have the emails come from the info@ address.

is this an issue with the settings? What might be causing this problem? Or is this something we need to talk to our website host about?

    Thanks!

  • @dhobeika,

Spam filters look at lots of different things including the sender address, the IP address and records associated with that address and the content of the message.

    Try a service like this:
    https://www.isnotspam.com/

It will give a report on your email and maybe provide some indications why your emails look like spam.
