Post Notification with more than one post

I send an automated newsletter every week and would like to set it so that the last three blog posts always appear in just that newsletter. (I publish one post every week)

I have set up an automated newsletter via post notification and set it to show three posts via post automation. However, only the one from that week is ever displayed.

Is there a workaround here? Is it somehow possible for me to automate this?
