There isn’t a way right now to include both the Excerpt and the full body of the post in a Post Notification email, using the Automatic Latest Content block. It’s an either/or situation.
You also can’t embed the ALC block twice, that is once as an excerpt and once as the full body – it will only pick up the post once, and only show whatever the topmost ALC block’s settings are.
The only way to include both is to build a manual newsletter where you embed the same post twice but with different settings.
Getting around this would require some kind of custom solution. One possible hack I thought of was to include the excerpt text in the body of your post, but add some CSS rules to hide this text if someone is actually viewing the post on the page in your website.
Failing that though, I think you would need to hire a developer to come up with a MailPoet customization. If you wish, you can also request this as a new feature for MailPoet on our feature request board, which is here:
