Post Notification – display IP address?

Hello, using the smashing Post-Notification plugin and it looks great, but my webhost (dreamhost) require that for something like this the date and IP address of the subscriber be logged. I know if I go into the options and then ‘list addresses’ it displays the time a user subscribed, but is there any way to tweak it so that it can also log/display the IP address?

This plugin is perfect for me except for that issue, I will be very sad if I can’t use it ??
