    I think this may already be possible by adding ‘post_tag’ as a Custom Taxonomy in Subscribe2. The code you would nee to do this is listed in the API documentation for Subscribe2; you need to look at the s2_taxonomies hook.

    That looks good, thanks! I wrote a small plugin with the s2_taxonomies hook. Now i see all tags in “Subscribed Categories”. Seems to work. ??

    Is there an example how to edit the subscribe2 form and add an option for users to choose specific tags?

    No, the form processing logic isn’t available to handle additional input data.
