I always get this error when adding a new child in the “Edit <Parent>” page. This is on a completely new install of WordPress 3.5 and Types 3.3.1.1 with no other plugins installed. (The default “Hello Dolly” and Akismet plugins were deleted.) This is on a Windows 7 OS.
