Post Name Permalinks not working

  • I know this question has been asked a lot, but none of the solutions I have found are working for me…

    Basically, I have a WordPress site where I am unable to update my permalinks from Default to Post Name. Everything appears to be set up correctly, I am hosting with one.com, mod_rewrite is actice, the .htaccess file is being update when I change the type of permalink so it clearly has write permissions…however when I change to Post Name permalinks, the htaccess file just doesn’t seem to be doing it’s job. All links just stop working.

    I was under the impression it could have been something wrong with my WordPress install perhaps? I created another WordPress site on the same server, in the same database, just with a different table prefix, and changing the permalinks on that site works fine!

    I’m stumped. Any ideas?

  • Hi everyone I am new to this wordpress. I am facing problem with the permalinks. till i was using as a blog(couponaxis.in/blog) i wasn’t facing anything but as soon as i shifted my blog to domain name https://www.couponaxis.in I am not able to use any of the Permalinks except Default one. Please suggest me anything from where i can use 2nd last Permalink.

    I don’t want to use ?mark in my Url Please can any one suggest me anything

    Just to add to my original post if it helps with diagnostics…

    The WordPress site that isn’t working sits in a folder with a space in the name…/Alba%20Wordpress/

    Also, I did migrate it from a local WAMP server.
