• Hi! I hope someone can help me. What is the post meta used by foogallery?

I would like to use WP/LR Sync plugin with my foogallery. Uploading of the images from my Lightroom to my website is working perfectly, a new foogallery will be created, BUT: the pictures are not in the created foogallery. I can see the images only in the media library.

    Kind regards
    Marianna

    Hello,

I had a look at this page about that plugin: https://meowapps.com/wplr-sync/post-types-extension/

choose the mode Array in Post Meta (Imploded)

The post meta value used by the foogallery post type is foogallery_attachments

Hi! Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately it didn’t work… I have the same problem as previously. Any idea why?

I have the same problem. They only show up in the default WordPress Media Gallery and i habe to add them manually to the Foogallery

    Actually, it is not

    Array in Post Meta (Imploded)

    but

    Array in Post Meta

I added this to my tutorial about linking WP/LR Sync and Galleries: https://meowapps.com/wplr-sync/sync-photos-page-gallery/.

Anyway, we are going to work on something better with @bradvin, which will be even easier ??

Jordy is there some indication as to what we may expect and what the timelines are between you and @bradvin ? To be able to combine the two would be insanely good.

I checked Nextgen which is far too complicated and Envira which keeps bloating buy this and buy that. Foogallery would be da shit for me, but I definitely want a solution which I can manage out of Lightroom.

I have my Lightroom setup in such a way that I can extremely flexible manage all my libraries, customer deliveries, album productions and customer galleries. To add portfolio (websit gallery) management to that would give me one unique starting point for my entire image library!

The mere thought already makes me fly! ?? ??

Let me know if / when I can assist. This is obviously very importnt to me and I bet you I am not the only one who would be anxious to see this happen.

    Cheers, Peter

No idea yet. It depends on @bradvin at this time. I am really, really willing do to this. But I need him to be with me on this. Then, we’ll plan it, but once we agree, it can be really quick.

They aren’t good systems. NextGEN tried to buy “me”, to get rid of my plugin (or re-use it to make it compatible only with NextGEN). I refused that, and I offered them that we work on compatibility between our plugins. They ignored it completely. They really have a bad mentality. Which is why I would be happy to team up with good galleries, such as FooGallery.

Indeed, many people ask for it ?? Let’s see how it goes. Please keep pressurring use because that’s good for the future!

    Hi @jordy and others,

I’m the co-founder of FooPlugins and just wanted to jump in quick to let you know that both @bradvin and I are here and listening:)

As you might know, we just released a major update to FooGallery so we’ve been busy with follow up on that and the both of us have been traveling.

We’re going to schedule some time to discuss internally in more detail in the next couple weeks and see what we can do.

@jordy, I have contacted you on .org Slack to start the conversations ??
