    Hi

We tried out the plugin but decided not to use it just yet. When I used the Uninstall option, it asked me to enter the word “REMOVE”, and told me that it would delete all database entries.

But it has not deleted the postmeta table entries on my custom post types. When I go to edit a post, I still see all the “pms-content-restrict…” values in the custom fields.

I know I can go into the database and delete these entries, but I’d expected that your Uninstall option would do that for me. Did I miss something? Is there an option to delete all the postmeta that the plugin creates?

    Hello @docdunning,

We offer an Uninstall option that will remove all data that the plugin has added to your website.
This is available on the Plugins page, as a plugin action, near the other options like Delete plugin or Deactivate plugin.

    Regards.

    Hi @raster02

Yes, as I said in my opening post, I did use the Uninstall option. But it does not remove any of the postmeta records that the plugin has created. I have just tried it again, and there are hundreds of postmeta records left behind, with these keys:

    pms-content-restrict-custom-non-member-redirect-url
    pms-content-restrict-custom-redirect-url
    pms-content-restrict-message-logged_out
    pms-content-restrict-message-non_members
    pms-content-restrict-subscription-plan
    pms-content-restrict-type
    pms-content-restrict-user-status

I can run a SQL query to delete all these records, but it seems to me that your uninstall process should remove them.

    Hello @docdunning,

Oh sorry, I missed that information.

It would make sense to remove everything we added, even from post meta. We will fix this in a future release.

Since you don’t intent to use the plugin, you should get rid of them with a query right now.

Thank you for letting us know.

    Regards.
