• Hi all,

I am using the Divi theme and I’ve noticed that it seems like the project type pages aren’t capable of displaying the category in the post meta data, but it will display the date and author fields. I checked the ePanel to make sure that the categories option was on, and it is. Does anyone know why the categories won’t display for these type of pages and what is the easiest solution to fix?

    Thanks!

Apologies…although I thought since I am using WordPress, it’s a WordPress question despite which theme I’m using. I don’t know if this issue has anything to do with the theme or not. Thanks.

Well the way that Categories are displayed in a page is done by editing the template that creates the page.

Templates are part of each theme, and each theme has different templates, some of which will by default have code in them to display the categories, some not.

Try using a core WP theme like TwentyTwelve, etc and see if your categories are shown.

Ahh ok, makes sense. Thanks for clarifying, that’s helpful to know.

    No probs, good luck
