I’m using Pre-Publish Checklist 1.1.1 and the plugin is adding a Filter dropdown to the Post list screen. I’m not sure why a Filter would be needed for this plugin, but when trying to use it there is a fatal error. Is there a way to remove the Filter? I can’t find a way in the settings. Maybe a function to remove the filter?

    Hi @theframeguy,

Did you refer to the one I marked with a red box in this screenshot? There’s an option to hide it from the Screen Options, can also be seen in the screenshot.

Regarding the fatal error, please try deactivating all plugins and leave this one active to check if there’s another plugin crashes. Also, what PHP version you are using, just in case?

    Kind regards,
    Herman ??

Hi @bsfherman, I’m referring to the Filter feature shown in this screenshot. I have determined that the fatal error is caused when the Presto Player Pro 1.2.1 plugin is active. Presto Player is a Brainstorm Force product, right? Here’s a screenshot of the fatal error.

    Hi @theframeguy,

There’s no way to remove that Filter.

Regarding the fatal error caused by the Presto Player. Yes, it is one of our products, however, it is not related to this plugin. This forum is used to discuss anything related to this plugin. If you need any assistance related to Presto Player plugin, please get in touch with our Presto Player team by submitting a ticket through this page.

Feel free to start a new thread if there is anything else related to this plugin, we can help you with.

    Kind regards,

@bsfherman, I’m a little surprised at your response. How do we know the Pre-Publish Checklist plugin does not have the issue? Just because Presto Player causes the error doesn’t mean the code problem is in the Presto Player plugin. Conveniently, both plugins are developed by the same company, which should make debugging easy. But by your response, you’re saying, “Sorry, different department, not my problem.” I wouldn’t expect Sujay Pawar to want his support department not to have a “can do” mentality. That’s not the reputation I know Brainstorm Force to have. I will bring up this issue with the Presto Player team and respond here with their response.

    Hi @theframeguy,

I am sorry if my previous response makes you think I said “This is not my problem” to you. What I would like to say is that this forum doesn’t belong to PrestoPlayer plugin. Further, you mentioned that the fatal error happens when the Presto Player plugin is activated.

Just in case you are not aware, discussing anything related to paid plugin is not allowed in this forum, as mentioned in the Forum Guidelines.

I just would like to try to keep this forum “clean”. Also, I don’t want the forum mod banning my account for doing something that is not allowed by the forum rules.

Well, I don’t mean to argue with you. Not at all. In fact, if you would like us to take a look at this further, please reach out to us through our Support Portal. Please mention this thread, so you don’t have to re-explain your query. If you like, you can even tag my name, so I can take care of it by myself.

Anyway, apart from the above. Just to clear the expectation, I wanted to mention that this plugin is completely free and open source. We initially created it for ourselves, but then we thought, “Hey, why not share it with the entire community?” so now, everyone can benefit from it.

If you happen to be a developer and would like to contribute to fixing any issue related to this plugin, we would love to have your contributions on GitHub. You can find the repository right here: https://github.com/brainstormforce/pre-publish-checklist

However, don’t worry if you’re not a developer. We completely understand. Our development team will take a look and resolve any reported issue soon.

    Kind regards,
    Herman ??
