Post List Module Excerpt missing with Divi content

    Hi,

    I just added the post list module for our blog page. I only have 3 posts. Two of the posts use the classic editor for the text. The automatic excerpt generation works for them. The third post, uses the Divi Visual Builder editor with just a text module for its content. Unfortunately, it does not automatically create an excerpt – the excerpt is just blank.

    We will likely create an explicit excerpt for this particular post. I’m just wondering if this is expected behavior or not?

    Thank you for your message.

    It’s possible that the issue you’re encountering is related to how Divi Visual Builder handles content versus the classic editor. The automatic excerpt generation may not function the same way when using the Divi Visual Builder since the builder adds content in a different structure compared to the classic editor.
