Post link with ACF Field

  • I don’t know whether this is possible:

    I have a CPT (video) with a ACF field called ‘person’: POST OBJECT returning ID
    (multiple values not enabled)
    (the person is another CPT)

    When I display the video post I want to display the person in a Posts widget which will only ever contain one result.

    On the video single I am trying to do this by setting the:
    Advanced Query Option: Dynamic Related Posts
    Custom Field Options: Post is Amongst Related Posts
    Related Posts Field: person

    I also tried
    Advanced Query Option: Custom Field Value
    Custom Field Options: Custom Field is Current Post Custom Field
    Field Name: post_id ???
    Current Post Field Name: person

    Neither option selects anything

    Can’t think of any other way to do this so any help or guidance greatly appreciated ??
